Week 10 - Elevator Pitch No. 3

I received several comments on the last elevator pitch, what stood out to me most was the contribution of input given by my fellow classmates. I appreciated all of the feedback I received as it was all given to improve the understanding the concept I am trying to pitch.
I was told I lack an all around plan of implementation, that my concept was a bit blurred but was important to the audience was knowing how the plan will be put in action.

Mentioned was the idea of researching similar issues around world to better improve the concept and bring forth new ideas to the program itself. The final feedback I received, was that my idea was not clear so that formatting my pitch would help my audience better understand the root of my plan.

Based on the feedback I received I was able to restructure my pitch so that my audience better understood my idea, had a greater sense of the implementation, and proposed the idea of comparing research of the same targeted audience to help with nutritional facts. I used all the feedback to help Food-for Thought. I appreciated those who took the time to listen.

  1. Hey Aviana,
I really liked your elevator pitch. You took the feedback you got the last time and really made a clear elevator pitch. I liked that you explained what Food-for-Thought is going to do, and who it’s targeting. The only thing I saw that can improve is maybe you memorizing the points of your elevator pitch and watching the words less. My elevator pitch talks about the clothing store I want to open called Tailored. You can check it out at http://entrepreneurshipblogs.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no-3.html

  2. Hello Aviana,

I like the name and the concept behind Food-for-Thought. I think you could get a lot of parents to buy into the idea of serving food that promotes brain use and development. You mentioned that you would serve mainly low-income families but I definitely think you could broaden it to the entire public school system as Food-for-Thought could be served to any student in the cafeteria. Good luck with your venture, you can check out my pitch in the link below.

  3. Hey Aviana, I really like how much thought you put into your elevator pitch. It sounded like you have been working with this idea for a while and you seem very knowledgeable about the subject. I also like what it would help do for not just the community but for everyone involved. I would love to see this idea take off and become a reality, it would make a change in a lot of people’s lives.
